After retiring from Rolls Royce, I decided to follow a long held ambition and open JP Destiny. I wanted to create a restaurant that feels welcoming, personal, and rooted in quality, where good food and good company matter just as much as what is on the plate.

 

I genuinely enjoy getting to know our customers and seeing familiar faces return. You will often find me in the restaurant, whether I am sampling dishes to make sure everything is just right, chatting with guests, or behind the scenes cleaning and tidying. Being a restaurant owner is not all glamour. It is hard work, long hours, and attention to detail, but it is work I truly enjoy.

 

My vision for JP Destiny is simple. Serve authentic Thai food with care, treat every customer like a guest in our home, and take pride in doing the small things properly every single day.

I grew up in Thailand which is where my insipiration for classic Thai cooking began. My passsion led me to broaden my knowledge by creating Malaysian and Chinese dishes with a desire to capture the full range of Asian cooking. This also inspired my love for equalling taste with presentation which is key to preparing modern Chinese food. My background has inspired me to create my own fusion of Asian dishes - look for these on the menu
